The Isla Moin Resort, Residence & Marina project in the lap of Limon Island at Costa Rica’s Caribbean Coast designed for SolerPazos Group LLC & CGroup LLC
Within the framework of the resort project, on an area of 840,000 square metres they plan to build 600 low-rise houses, about a dozen villas with terraces, a deluxe hotel and also two piers to accommodate over 400 yachts. Shops, boutiques, souvenir shops, restaurants, a gourmet product market, a yacht club, a fitness centre and other service facilities will occupy another 20,000 square metres. Beaches, villas, houses and piers are all linked together by colonial-style streets and footpaths.
The project runs harmoniously with the natural landscape, all buildings and facilities neatly and delicately integrated into the natural environment to accentuate the virgin beauty of the place – vast tropical forests with exotic flora and fauna, rivers and the admirable coastline. To let house owners enjoy Isla Moin’s beautiful scenery, all buildings at the resort are low-rise, with the number of storeys limited to four, and rooftops crowned with beautiful terraces.
Besides the spacious outside marina, the resort’s design solution provides for a roomy artificial inner bay that can accommodate up to two hundred vessels. Also, there is an integrated system of canals, each with a proprietary boat station. The perfectly round bay forms the architectural nucleus of the resort. Compact planning adds to a town resort image of the place and so does the bay with its quay and a wonderful view of the inland water area. The system of canals redoubles the length of the formal coastline and provides practically all real estate owners with a direct access to the waterfront.
The resort’s condominiums offer apartments ranging in size from 65 square metres (single bedroom and a 16-square-metres terrace) to 260 sqare metres (four bedrooms and a 68 square-metres terrace). All apartments offer a wonderful view of the sea, one of the rivers or canals. Villas of more that 200 square metres , with 100-square-metres terraces and private mooring lines, are positioned directly at the seacoast or the banks of the canals. The rooftop terraces are fitted with bathrooms, summer kitchens, tents with power supply and elevators.
Another hundred villas ranging in size from 340 to 600 square metres will all line up along the canal that runs through the entire resort. Most buildings are designed to make room for a private pier to accommodate boats under 3.5 metres in length. For yachts longer than that there will be parking places at the outside pier of Isla Moin Marina Village.
All aspects of spatial planning, functional and architectural design were taken into account while developing the project to offer a wholesome and comprehensive solution. Isla Moin Resort, Residence & Marina is a yachtsmen’s paradise and wonderful place for all who loves exotic nature coupled with the highest level of comfort.
